We are a family-owned, licensed non-medical home care agency (HCO #344700040) serving the greater Sacramento region, San Diego, and Orange County. We're growing, and we're looking for a proven operator who can lead that growth.

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Operations Manager specializing in Territory Growth and Sales. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in business management, sales, and operational leadership, with a focus on driving growth, optimizing processes, and leading teams to achieve organizational objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the expansion strategy and operational excellence within a growing senior care organization.

The Role
The Business Operations Manager oversees operations, sales, and revenue growth across our territories. You'll own the numbers for your offices: census, billable hours, caregiver staffing, referral pipeline, and profitability. This is a leadership role for someone who has built or scaled a home care business before and knows what drives a healthy office week to week.

What You'll Do

• Build and execute territory business development plans, and personally develop relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, hospices, senior living communities, elder law attorneys, and other referral partners

• Set, track, and report on KPIs, including new client starts, weekly billable hours, lead-to-start conversion, caregiver retention, and gross margin

• Oversee intake speed-to-lead and inquiry conversion processes

• Manage office P&Ls and budgets, and identify opportunities to grow revenue and control costs

• Drive team development through training programs, mentorship, and leadership development initiatives focused on operational excellence.

• Recruit, coach, and hold accountable office staff, care coordinators, and schedulers

• Partner with ownership on pricing, service expansion, and long-term growth strategy

• Ensure compliance with California Home Care Services Bureau requirements

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of leadership experience in non-medical home care, home health, hospice, or senior living, with at least 3 years in business development or sales

• A track record of growing census and revenue that you can show with numbers

• Knowledge of sales strategies, customer service standards, and business development practices within healthcare or senior care sectors preferred.

• Multi-site or territory management experience strongly preferred

• Strong command of P&L management, KPIs, and CRM-based pipeline tracking (GoHighLevel experience is a plus)

• An established referral network in Sacramento or San Diego is a significant advantage

• A reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel between territories

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $85,000 – $105,000, depending on experience

• Performance compensation: quarterly profit share on territory growth, plus new-client commissions (total earning potential of $130,000 – $170,000+)
