Part-Time English Teacher (Grades 4-10)

Role Overview GrowWise Learning is looking for an experienced English Instructor to teach students across elementary, middle, and high school levels , with an emphasis on reading, writing, grammar, and structured communication skills. Middle School: Grades 6–8 (Analytical reading, writing structure, grammar) High School: Grades 9–12 (Academic writing, literary analysis, college essay writing) Grade Levels Covered Elementary School: Grades 1–5 (Reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar basics) Middle School: Grades 6–8 (Analytical reading, writing structure, grammar) High School: Grades 9–12 (Academic writing, literary analysis, college essay writing) Key Responsibilities Teach English concepts in a group classroom setting Support reading comprehension, writing fluency, and grammar mastery Guide middle and high school students in academic and college essay writing Monitor student progress and learning milestones Contribute to content preparation, including: Reviewing and improving lesson materials Assisting with writing prompts, reading selections, and assessments Aligning content with school standards and expectations Foster confidence, critical thinking, and strong communication skills Qualifications Minimum 2 years of English teaching or tutoring experience Strong expertise in reading, writing, and grammar College essay writing experience required for middle and high school instruction Comfortable working with students across grade levels Strong communication and classroom management skills Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Paid sick leave (CA compliant) Workers’ compensation coverage Flexible part‑time scheduling Professional growth opportunities How To Apply Apply online: OR Email your resume and cover letter to View email address on click.appcast.io #J-18808-Ljbffr
