Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive examinations of patients and conduct thorough reviews of their medical histories
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical issues through the interpretation of diagnostic tests and imaging
• Work synergistically with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical plans
• Provide critical intraoperative support, including preparing surgical areas, ensuring proper patient posture, and handing surgical tools as needed
• Administer stellar pre- and post-operative care, including handling medications, wound management, discharge planning, and education for patients

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred background includes completed clinical rotations with a focus on surgery

Required Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• Eligible to obtain state licensure as a Physician Assistant
