Job Responsibilities
- Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and formulate tailored therapy approaches to help them achieve their functional milestones
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage evidence-based methods to elevate patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and daily activities
- Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive and cohesive care
- Guide Patients and Caregivers: Educate patients and their families on therapy strategies to encourage sustained progress at home
- Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, ensuring patients stay on the right path
- A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution is required
- Ongoing education and advanced certifications are encouraged and supported
- Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
