Position Overview:

MLR Healthcare is seeking a certified Radiation Therapist to join our oncology team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in administering radiation therapy treatments, while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by oncologists.
• Accurately prepare and position patients for treatment.
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment in compliance with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Monitor patients for side effects, providing education and support.
• Maintain precise patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field from an accredited program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (RT(T)) and state licensure in Illinois.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
