Quality Manager
G&W Electric Co., a global leader in power grid solutions, is seeking a Quality Manager to drive product and process excellence in our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will own the quality management system, lead audits, and monitor key metrics to ensure safe, reliable switching and protection products. You will guide root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement projects in collaboration with engineering, operations, and suppliers. This position offers the opportunity to impact grid reliability while developing technically and professionally in a supportive, team-oriented culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead implementation and maintenance of plant-wide quality management systems
- Develop and monitor quality KPIs, driving corrective and preventive actions
- Conduct root cause analysis and lead cross-functional problem-solving
- Manage audits, compliance, and customer quality requirements
- Oversee inspection, testing, and documentation standards
- Coach teams on quality tools, standards, and continuous improvement
- Partner with engineering and operations to improve process capability
- Support supplier quality and incoming material control
