Requirements Master’s degree in Education or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in a school leadership role (e.g., Assistant Principal, Dean, Grade-Level Leader) required At least 5 years of successful teaching experience Proven track record of achievement and measurable results Strong commitment to improving the quality of urban education, especially for historically underserved students Responsibilities Provide visionary leadership and foster strong professional relationships within the school community, including the Board, staff, students, families, and external partners Champion high academic and behavioral standards to ensure excellence in student achievement Model and uphold a culture of high expectations, accountability, and professionalism Lead policy development related to discipline, attendance, and student conduct Guide faculty in curriculum planning and instructional best practices Manage and ensure compliance with required reports to authorizers, funders, and regulatory agencies Participate in the recruitment, mentoring, and development of staff Supervise and evaluate instructional and support staff Coordinate and support school-wide events and programs Oversee building operations, including maintenance of facilities, equipment, and instructional materials Ensure smooth and effective day-to-day school operations Compensation and Benefits Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
