Oracle E-Business Suite Finance Functional Consultant Texas, Houston 08/19/2025 Contract Active Job Description: Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Finance Functional Consultant to support full-cycle implementations and ongoing enhancements of Oracle EBS financial modules. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise across core financial modules and a proven ability to work closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and compliant solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead or participate in requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution design for Oracle EBS modules including AP, AR, GL, FA, PO, OM, and Inventory. Configure Oracle EBS modules based on business requirements and industry best practices. Prepare functional specifications for customizations, reports, and integrations. Collaborate with technical teams to support development and unit testing of enhancements. Conduct system testing, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deliver end-user training. Manage data migration activities including mapping, validation, and reconciliation. Support go-live activities and provide post-implementation support. Document functional processes, configurations, and test cases. Ensure seamless integration between EBS modules and other enterprise systems. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of Oracle EBS functional consulting experience. Experience in at least 2 full-cycle Oracle EBS implementations (R12 preferred). Strong functional knowledge in at least 2–3 Oracle EBS modules (e.g., AP, AR, GL, FA, CM, EBTAX) with P2P and O2C process expertise. Proficiency in preparing functional documentation (e.g., MD50, BR100, TE40). Understanding of integration touchpoints between EBS modules and external systems. Hands-on experience with testing cycles, data migration, and end-user training. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Oracle EBS certification (preferred but not mandatory).
