Principal Sales Analyst

We anticipate the application window for this opening will close on 7 Jun 2026. About the Role MiniMed is seeking an analytically driven Principal Sales Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be at the intersection of data and strategy — building forecasting models, developing reporting tools, and delivering insights that directly shape how MiniMed's sales and clinical teams perform. You will partner with cross‑functional teams and senior leadership to identify trends, optimize processes, and support data‑driven decision making. Responsibilities Develop and maintain forecasting models based on sales data and other internal and external data. Continuously assess effectiveness of sales and clinical teams and support cross‑functional partners. Propose creative solutions to address complex business challenges. Develop and implement strategies for process optimization and standardization. Conduct data analysis and develop reporting tools to identify business trends and report performance results across sales channels, product lines, payer groups, etc. Review department metrics with leadership team to ensure consistent performance, high productivity, and achievement of business goals. Identify and track data necessary to develop and refine business forecasting and product utilization models and predictive sales analytics. Design, produce, and maintain various reports and database systems for department management. Work closely with stakeholders to define project goals, KPIs, and deliverables. Manage multiple project/work assignments and analytical duties simultaneously. Use statistical tools and data analysis to monitor performance and support decision making. Learn and develop proficiency with Salesforce, Centricity, and/or other programs used by the Commercial Team. Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure optimal sales execution and attainment of growth objectives. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of sales, marketing, and/or project management experience OR advanced degree with 5+ years in similar role. 10+ years in a business analytics role, preferably sales operations or sales finance. Advanced technical skills in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc. Experience with data modeling and forecasting. Experience presenting data to leadership/executive level. Excellent attention to detail. Preferred: SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt/Black Belt), MBA or advanced degree, prior medical device or pharma industry experience. Compensation Base salary range for U.S. (excluding PR) is $104,000 – $156,000 per year. Salary commensurate with experience, qualifications, and market.
