Key Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations and therapeutic treatments for patients in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings
- Manage a caseload of approximately 12–14 patients per therapist
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans
- Float between rehabilitation and acute care units as needed
- Document patient progress and clinical notes using Meditech EMR
- Participate in weekend rotation (minimum 2 weekend days per 4-week block) and holiday shifts as required
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license (PT) in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of experience in acute care
- Inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, or skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Meditech EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ICU experience
- Wound care experience
- Positive, collaborative, and proactive communication style
