Travel RN – Med/Telemetry (Spine Unit)

Contract (13-Week Travel Assignment) | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Telemetry Spine unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
• Document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, and discharge planning as appropriate

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Telemetry or Med/Tele setting
• Demonstrated ability to monitor and respond to telemetry rhythms
• Current BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required per unit standards
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a spine or orthopedic patient population
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems used in large acute care facilities
