Applicants for this role should be senior executives with a strong network of potential funders and partners, particularly within the relevant sectors. A proven track record in supporting major funding commitments, experience in organizational positioning, and insight into global funding trends are essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to the values of the organization, including strategic, impact-focused, collaborative, and empathic approaches. High ethical standards, integrity, and a collaborative spirit are also key attributes. While not mandatory, prior experience as a board member in philanthropic organizations, private sector companies, or international nonprofits is considered an asset.
