Key Responsibilities

• Administer high-quality care to critically ill patients in a 5-bed ICU.
• Support recovery for patients post-general surgery, pediatric cases, and obstetrics.
• Follow physician orders, adhere to care standards, and comply with hospital policies.
• Work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain and update patient records and care plans.
• May require floating to the Emergency Department, Med/Surg, or Pediatrics during low census periods.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an ICU setting.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Current, valid, unrestricted Professional Nursing License (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire.
• Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) certification within 6 months of hire.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within 6 months of hire.
• COVID-19 vaccination (medical and religious exemptions may apply).
