The College of Education, Health and Society (EHS) was founded in 1902. The College embraces the rich opportunities available for cross-disciplinary collaboration across its six departments (Educational Leadership; Educational Psychology; Family Science and Social Work; Kinesiology, Nutrition, and Health; Sport Leadership and Management; and Teacher Education). Minimum Qualifications Ph.D. or terminal degree in Family Science or Social Work or closely related field by date of appointment, and a minimum of two years of practice experience post master’s degree achievement for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor. For appointment to Instructor: Master’s (or ABD) in Social Work or closely related field by date of appointment, and a minimum of two years of practice experience post master’s degree achievement for appointment as Instructor. Consideration may be given to candidates with applied professional experience, including but not limited to a minimum of five years practice experience post master’s degree achievement; those holding licensure (e.g., LSW, LISW, LISW-S) in social work; and experience teaching hybrid or fully online as well as face-to-face courses.
