Head of Manufacturing Quality & Compliance

Position Overview:

As Head of Manufacturing Quality & Compliance, we are seeking a transformational leader to drive the continued development and integration of our quality systems, compliance programs, and safety culture. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing a high-performing Quality Management System (QMS) that supports our manufacturing and machining operations worldwide.

This person will lead a multidisciplinary team across Quality Assurance, Supplier Management, EH&S, Document Control, and Compliance to support domestic & international operations. Reporting to the executive team, you’ll serve as the ISO Management Representative and steward for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 17025:2017, UL, OSHA, REACH, and Conflict Minerals compliance. This role requires a strategic, results-driven leader with deep experience in manufacturing quality systems—from raw material inspection to final product validation.

sStrategic Leadershi

• pServe as ISO 9001 & ISO 17025 Management Representative and key advisor to the executive team
• .Lead and develop a high-performing team across Quality, Compliance, and EH&S
• .Define and execute both short- and long-term quality and compliance strategies
• .Deliver executive-level reporting on QMS performance and risk posture
• .Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and team development

.Quality Systems Managemen

• tOversee QMS implementation, including audits, CAPAs, risk management, and inspection processes
• .Lead external audits and vendor quality programs to ensure full regulatory compliance
• .Own documentation control and ensure audit readiness at all times
• .Track quality KPIs and create performance dashboards for executive review
• .Conduct Management Reviews and report QMS effectiveness to senior leadership

.Operational Qualit

• yPartner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to embed preventive quality practices
• .Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions
• .Support product scale-up and process validation, including CNC machining and final inspection processes
• .Manage team performance metrics, departmental budgets, and equipment planning

.Compliance, Safety & ES

• GEnsure ongoing compliance with OSHA, UL, RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, and ISO standards
• .Sponsor EH&S programs and chair the Safety Committee
• .Support corporate sustainability and ESG reporting initiatives
• .Monitor evolving global standards and proactively adjust company practices

Qualificatio

• nsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field; Master's degree preferre
• d.10+ years of quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environmen
• t.Proven experience managing cross-functional teams of 15+ staff member
• s.Strong proficiency in ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 is require
• d.ASQ certifications (CQE, CMQ/OE) and ISO Lead Auditor certification are highly preferre
• d.Proficient with document control systems, ERP systems, and Microsoft Offic
• e.Deep knowledge of CNC machining, precision assembly, and product testin
• g.Strong communication, decision-making, and leadership skills in high-stakes environment
