Medical Lab Technician
$27.91 - $41.93 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a Medical Lab Technician for its Redmond, WA location to perform routine and complex laboratory procedures, operate instrumentation, and ensure specimen quality on a night shift schedule. The role involves technical testing, quality control documentation, and maintaining safe laboratory operations.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate specimen acceptability and perform routine and complex technical procedures
- Monitor, operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation for proper functionality
- Prepare, test and evaluate reagents or controls according to protocols
- Execute preventative maintenance and quality control procedures with documentation
- Report accurate test results and identify supply needs to maintain bench operations
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Life Science or Medical Technology
- ASCP or AMT certification
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Flexible to work overtime and rotating holidays
Compensation: $27.91 - $41.93 per hour plus third shift differential
