Hospitalist Physician

• Schedule: 24-hour Hospital In-house Call 7a-7a (12-hour shifts also available if preferred)
• Job Setting: Hospital system with Level II nursery; 11-12 deliveries per day
• Types of Cases: OB Hospitalist role handling high risk pregnancies with MFM support (in-house during day, on call at night). Primarily covers MFM service and patients, available for urgent OB needs and emergencies, assisting with c-sections and obstetrical procedures. Coverage for undoctored/unassigned OB patients at ANW. No GYN, no residents to supervise. CNM coverage part of workflow at UNTD and modified coverage at ANW. 24/7 access to maternal fetal medicine specialists.
• Credentialing: 90-120 days. Emergency Temps may be obtained on clean files only.

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified OB/GYN
• Certifications: BLS
• Licensure: MN License Highly Preferred. If no MN license, IMLC is Required. Must have Trauma I or II experience.

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Ongoing
• Documentation System: Epic (called Excellian at Allina); Obix for electronic fetal monitoring
• Float Requirements: Providers will float between Abbott Northwestern Hospital; Mercy Hospital; Saint Francis Medical Center; Cambridge Medical Center; Allina Health Plymouth Clinic; District One Hospital; New Ulm Medical Center; Owatonna Hospital; United Hastings Regina Campus; River Falls Area Hospital; United Hospital
• Fingerprinting: Typically takes 48 hours to post. Results must be posted prior to privileges being granted.
• COVID-19 Vaccine: Not Required
