Registered Nurse II

Role: Registered Nurse II in a cardiovascular specialty, providing patient care in a clinical setting. Responsibilities Adhere to departmental policies, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols. Precept new staff and review clinical performance. Assist with patient preparation, assessment, and history documentation. Coordinate care by discussing recommendations with practitioners and resolving complex patient issues independently. Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and a safe environment using effective communication techniques. Support providers during examinations and procedures, maintain accurate records, and monitor supplies and equipment. Schedule appointments, relay test results, and provide patient education. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement diagnosis-based care. Maintain professional growth through ongoing training and development. Qualifications Completed nursing degree and valid Tennessee RN License. Minimum of 3 years of professional nursing experience, with cardiothoracic or cardiac surgery background. CPR certification.
