Temporary Part Time Hourly Grant Administrator (Ric Edelman College of Communication, Humanities & Social Sciences) Job No: 501588 Work Type: Temporary Part-Time Location: Glassboro, New Jersey Categories: Administrative - Clerical Reporting to the Dean of the Ric Edelman College of Communication, Humanities & Social Sciences, this part-time position supports faculty members in developing proposals and expanding the college’s grant portfolio program. Duties include coordinating with the University’s Research Office, supporting proposal writing, budgeting, submission, researching grant opportunities, training faculty, managing submission and reporting calendars, and ensuring all deadlines are met. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with faculty members and the office of research to produce effective proposals. Research grant opportunities to support faculty research programs and educational operations. Develop and support faculty in their grant proposals to foundations, corporations and government funding sources. Help faculty develop grant budgets. Support faculty to submit grant proposals and develop appropriate/required documentation. Support faculty with post-grant needs. Ensure on-time delivery of all grant and report submissions. Maintain grant files and grant calendar. Rate: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour depending on experience. Hours: This temporary, part-time position is assigned no more than twenty-five (25) hours per week and is not to exceed 944 hours per fiscal year. Work is contracted annually to coincide with the fiscal year and is contingent upon budget appropriations.
