Building Cleaner

Job Duties:

- Keeps buildings in a clean and orderly condition
- Cleans, stocks and supplies designated facility areas
- Dusts, sweeps, vacuums, mops, cleans ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc.
- Performs and documents routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Carries out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects
- Notifies management of occurring deficiencies or need for repairs
- Makes adjustments and minor repairs
- Stocks and maintains supply rooms
- Cooperates with the rest of the staff
- Follows all health and safety regulations
- Proven working experience as a cleaner
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Integrity
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Extensive criminal history and background investigation
