Lead Security Technician

Lead Security Technician Direct hire, permanent position available in Midland/Lubbock/Odessa. This is a field position involving installation and programming of security systems such as Avigilon and Genetec. The role includes hourly pay with overtime, and expects around 50 hour work weeks. The job requires driving to job sites, typically 1-3 hours any given day, using a company vehicle. Additionally, the position involves guiding and mentoring junior technicians. Job Responsibilities: Assisting with building project schedules. Managing on-site quality to ensure project standards are met. Overseeing on-site resources, including subcontractors. Identifying and escalating project issues promptly. Identifying and obtaining change orders as necessary. Assisting with technical installation, programming, and troubleshooting. Providing regular status updates to the Project Manager. Interfacing on-site with general contractors, other vendors, and stakeholders. Acting as the on-site safety manager to ensure compliance with safety protocols. Managing on-site inventory. Serving as a liaison between the Project Manager and the technical team. Marking up engineering documents for clarity and accuracy. Managing equipment matrix and commissioning documents. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Security Technician with systems like Genetec and Avigilon. Ability to mentor junior technicians. Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects or portions of projects. Strong people skills for a customer-facing position. Travel: Travel as necessary to support company and customer needs. Any given day you could be driving 1-2 hours to a client/job site. Company vehicle provided.
