We are looking for a friendly, dependable cashier to join our restaurant team. Responsibilities include greeting customers, accurately processing orders and payments, answering phones, keeping the front area clean and organized, and providing excellent customer service. Must be able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Accurately enter orders and process payments
• Answer phones and take to-go orders
• Provide excellent customer service
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
• Keep the cashier and front counter area clean and organized
• Prepare and package takeout orders
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff
• Assist customers with questions about menu items
• Handle customer concerns and notify management when needed
• Restock supplies at the cashier station
• Follow restaurant policies, procedures, and food-safety standards
• Assist team members during busy periods
• Complete assigned opening, closing, and side-work duties

Qualifications:

• Friendly, positive, and professional attitude
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Ability to accurately take and enter customer orders
• Comfortable using a POS/register system
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Works well as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and follow restaurant procedures
• Ability to remain professional with customers and coworkers
• Previous restaurant or cashier experience preferred, but not required
• Must be available to work assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed

Requirements:
