Clinic Operations Lead for LGBTQIA+ Health

Description – Oversees daily clinic operations in our LGBTIA+ healthcare clinic. Ensures that the clinic runs smoothly and that all departments are supported. As an RN, also helps the floor by rooming patients and performing general nursing tasks.General Duties and Responsibilities:Review daily patient list/schedule the day beforeEnsure all schedule conflicts with providers rectifiedSign off and review documents to become part of the patients’ permanent chartReceiving all chart notes and moving to provider task boxOrder most supplies/stay within budgetOversee RN’s, MA Supervisor, Lab Manager, CRS, AdministrationAssist department managers with disciplinary action plans and employee discussionsPerform 90 day and annual reviews for all direct reportsSupport homeless outreach teamTeach MA certification class and CPR classReceive resumes and review, schedule, and conduct interviewsHandles pharmacy reps/drug repsManagement of all positive STI results and treatmentsNotify patients of critical resultsEnsures patients get STI treatment ASAPReceive patient emails inquiries regarding different medical servicesCollaborates to the lab to ensure reported the state properlyHandle specimens properly and ensure they get to the lab properlyHandles all fax that come in for providersRoom patientsTake patient vitalsPerform phlebotomy, wound dressing, injectionsReview labs for patientsComplete clearance letters for top/bottom surgeryComplete letters for patients to return to workSupport providers with any assigned duties, i.e., prescription refills etc.Minimum Qualifications and Experience:Pennsylvania Registered Nursing License or eligible for reciprocityBA preferred or minimum 2 years’ experience as a clinic managerCPR certificationRequirements:Strong communication skills with both professionals and patients from all demographicsAbility to work in a fast paced and, at times, excited atmosphereNon-judgmental approach to patient careTechnical skills with required office equipmentCompletely understand the healthcare privacy laws as outlined in HIPAALGBTQIA+ cultural competencyAbility to adapt to a work environment that is constantly changing and not always structured.Punctuality and impeccable attendancePatience and great attention to detailAbility to multi-task #J-18808-Ljbffr
