Job Description

Description:

An Automotive Service Technician diagnoses, repairs, and maintains vehicles, encompassing both mechanical and electrical systems. They perform tasks like oil changes, brake repairs, engine diagnostics, and more, ensuring vehicles are safe and reliable. They also stay updated on the latest automotive technology and may interact with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnosing Vehicle Issues: Using diagnostic tools and their expertise to identify problems with vehicles.
Repairing and Replacing Parts: Fixing or replacing faulty components like brakes, engines, or electrical parts.
Performing Routine Maintenance: Conducting services like oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations.
Staying Updated: Keeping pace with technological advancements in vehicles.
Customer Interaction: Communicating with customers about vehicle problems and repair recommendations.

Requirements:

Essential Skills:

Mechanical Aptitude: Strong understanding of vehicle systems and components.
Diagnostic Skills: Ability to accurately diagnose vehicle issues.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of engine performance, electrical systems, and other automotive technologies.
