The posted compensation range of $65.66 - $78.68 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Sonographer, you will utilize advanced sonographic equipment to record detailed images of blood, organs, tissues, and bodily masses, including unborn fetuses, providing critical visual data for diagnosis and prenatal care.

Every day you will directly interact with patients, explaining procedures, answering questions, and preparing them for scans. You will meticulously operate sonographic equipment, adjusting settings and patient positions to ensure clear, diagnostic images. You will monitor and care for patients to ensure their safety and comfort, select and examine images for pathologies, and present preliminary findings to Physicians.

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent patient service and communication skills, sharp eyesight, and meticulous attention to detail. You will demonstrate strong technical proficiency, sound judgment, and advanced decision-making skills to effectively capture and interpret sonographic data, ensuring optimal diagnostic support.

Job Requirements

• Technical School Graduation from an accredited school of Ultrasound and 2-5 years experience performing Ultrasound procedures., upon hire and
• 2 years high-risk/level II OB Ultrasoundincluding Fetal Echo.
• Experienced with US guided invasive fetal proceduresincluding amniocentesis and CVS
• Basic Life Support - CPR (must be from the American Heart Association), within 30 Days and
• Registered Cardiac Elect, upon hire or
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, upon hire or
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI, upon hire or
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, upon hire or
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Abdomen, upon hire or
• Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, upon hire or
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire or
• Registered Vascular Specialist, upon hire or
• Registered Vascular Technologist, upon hire

Preferred

• Experience with AIUM certification process
