Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-risk perinatal care in a Level III Labor and Delivery unit encompassing labor, antepartum, postpartum, triage, and OR settings
• Maintain staffing ratios of 1:1 in active labor, 1:3 couplets in postpartum with CNA support, and 1:2–3 in antepartum
• Participate in triage care alongside a team of skilled RNs each shift
• Float to postpartum as needed to support unit staffing needs
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including delivering providers, CRNAs, surgical techs, CNAs, and health unit coordinators available 24/7
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Current BCLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or Relias Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Sterile vaginal exam (SVE) competency required — hard stop requirement
• Availability to work weekends and commit to 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a facility performing 200 or more deliveries per month; candidates from facilities with 100–200 deliveries will be considered
• Prior experience in a high-risk perinatal or Level III Labor and Delivery environment
• Familiarity with antepartum and postpartum care settings
