Senior Transportation Project Manager Department: Transportation Employment Type: Full Time Location: East Peoria, IL Reporting To: Joshua Harken Compensation: $160,000 - $200,000 / year Description The role is for a Transportation Engineering Lead to spearhead development and expansion of the transportation engineering team at Fehr Graham. What you’ll do Develop transportation strategy in collaboration with the executive team. Lead the development of comprehensive strategies for advancing transportation projects and services. Accountable for client engagement and relationship building with local agencies and potential clients. Serve as a liaison between clients, the organization, and regulatory bodies such as the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT). Oversee project leadership and management, ensuring quality and client expectations are met. Recruit, mentor, and develop the transportation design team. Perform financial oversight by monitoring project budgets and financial performance. Contribute to financial planning for the transportation department and assess project feasibility. Act as the primary point of contact for transportation projects, ensuring clear communication among stakeholders. Develop and maintain high-level understanding of transportation engineering technology trends. Attend meetings, community, and industry events. Research industry trends and communicate findings internally. Maintain client confidentiality and uphold company core values. Other duties as assigned.
