No block schedule requests will be accepted. 48-hour schedules can be considered but are not guaranteed. The facility operates 171 beds and is Joint Commission Accredited. It has a certified Chest Pain Center and is a Level 3 Trauma facility. Located in a region known for outdoor recreation and beautiful scenery. The area features mountain ranges paired with serene lakes. Proximity to major cities includes Las Vegas, Phoenix, Grand Canyon National Park, and Los Angeles/San Diego. The unit consists of 40 beds with a patient ratio of 1:6. Available equipment includes IV pumps, bed/chair alarms, and drug dispensing cabinets. The electronic health record system in use is Medhost. The patient population primarily consists of adults and geriatrics. Ideal candidates should display compassion, positivity, and a can-do attitude. This position may require floating to other units as necessary. Experience as a preceptor or in charge roles is a plus. The patient types include total joint patients, surgical patients, and those with acute on chronic medical conditions such as CHF and CKD. This role will not include scheduling for on-call shifts, but shifts may flex to accommodate needs. Dress code requires black scrubs. Unacceptable attire includes open shoes. Candidates must possess the required skills and experience to manage patient care efficiently.
