IP Nurse - Join Our Team of Dedicated Healthcare Professionals at Little Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center!

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IP Nurse to join our team at Little Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a 106-bed skilled nursing and psychiatric facility located in the heart of Chicago, Illinois. As a key member of our infection prevention team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our residents and staff.

About the Role:

As an IP Nurse , you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating infection prevention and control programs to prevent and control the spread of infections. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Infection Prevention and Control : Develop, implement, and evaluate infection prevention and control programs to prevent and control the spread of infections.
• Surveillance and Monitoring : Conduct surveillance and monitoring of infections, including monitoring of antibiotic use, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Education and Training : Provide education and training to staff on infection prevention and control practices, including proper hand hygiene, masking, and disinfection procedures.
• Quality Improvement : Collaborate with the quality improvement team to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
• Compliance : Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control regulations, standards, and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Infection Preventionist : Proficiency in infection prevention and control principles and practices.

• Licensure : Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Illinois.

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.

• Experience : One year of experience in infection prevention and control or a related field.
