Senior Director OF Finance

You’ll work closely with the top executive, influence major business decisions, develop a talented team and have the opportunity to make meaningful improvements across the organization. The compensation package is equally attractive, including a $215K–$250K base, 20% target bonus with significant upside, plus equity. What You’ll Do Own the Accounting and Finance function, including FP&A, close/reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cost accounting Provide leadership with the financial intelligence behind growth, pricing, margins and profitability decisions Bring greater efficiency, visibility and sophistication to financial processes and reporting Play a major role in upgrading ERP and finance technology Work closely with operations to understand performance and identify opportunities for improvement Coach and develop the finance team while building a strong, accountable department Manage key corporate reporting, treasury, audit and compliance responsibilities What We’re Looking For Accomplished Finance/Accounting leader with strong FP&A and operational finance experience Manufacturing experience highly desired Strong understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis Experience improving or implementing ERP/financial systems Proven ability to partner with senior leadership while still being comfortable getting into the details Track record of mentoring and developing finance professionals Medical device, medical technology or another regulated industry background is a plus Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA/MBA preferred This is an on-site Long Island opportunity for someone who wants more than a title.
