Construction Project Field Manager

• Industry: Commericial and Residential Leading provider of specialty doors and products including Hollow Metal Doors, Automatic Door Systems, Parking Control, Security Shutters and Storefront Doors, impact restaurant double doors, sound proof doors, drive thru restaurant windows, strip curtains is a barrier used to control temperature, air curtains used to blow a controlled stream of air across an opening, a doorway or entrance.
• Location: Hayward, CA

Commercial/Residential Doors- Automatic Gates, and Loading Dock Systems, high speed, Rolling steel doors, fire doors, sectional, hangar doors, storefront doors, and loading dock equipment, overhead doors. Emergency repair service for residential garage doors, fences, gates, door openers, repair, installations, replacements .

Searching for a candidate with decades of industry expertise and a reputation for high-quality service. Seeking a hands-on leader, Not one to delegate, need a leader to help elevate, train his new crew to oversee 10 members for future growth opportunities.

Position Overview

The Project/Field Manager will oversee all aspects of our Hayward, CA Operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning while driving growth and efficiency. This is a highly visible leadership role suited for someone who is both strategic and operational—able to manage teams, handle customers, and jump into the field when necessary and help finish the job. You'll supervise a team of ~10, manage project workflows, assist with estimates, and ensure exceptional service delivery.

• Help with estimates and site assessments; occasionally work in the field
• Monitor and manage inventory; order materials as needed
• Ensure accurate and timely job costing, invoicing, and use of service management software (e.g., Job Files, Service Titan, etc. )
• Customer & vendor relations
• Navigate the unique challenges of the Hayward, CA market and clientele
• Manage vendor relationships, supply chains, and customer service issues
• Support business development and uphold company reputation for quality and reliability
• Financial & Strategic Leadership
• Review and interpret financial statements
• Maintain profitability through proper margin calculations and efficient scheduling
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning

Salary - Temp2Hire- at $48/hrly , plus overtime

Day shift/ Full-Time

Provide DMV printout

Must have good driving record- No more than 1 point against within last 5 years
Company prefers- someone locally within - 30 miles radius of Alameda County

Experience

• Proven experience in construction management or as a Project Field Manager with a strong understanding of heavy civil or commercial projects
• Extensive on-site construction experience with a focus on project scheduling, site safety, and quality assurance
• Proficiency in construction management, if any software include it on resume
• Power Tools
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Familiarity with contracts management and contract compliance procedures
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
• Knowledge of construction estimating techniques and civil site work practices
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams and liaising with clients or stakeholders
