About the role A Solutions Architect in the AWS Commercial Mid‑Market group works directly with small and medium business customers, helping them use AWS to gain competitive advantage, influencing architectural choices across broad use cases including security, compute, storage, networking, serverless, analytics, and AI/ML. You provide exceptional technical design guidance and thought leadership, capture and share best practices, and collaborate with account teams. Key Responsibilities Serve as a key member of the Solutions Architecture team, ensuring customer success in building applications and services on the AWS platform. Scope each customer engagement with clear objectives and success criteria. Own each engagement, ensuring timely delivery of value. Capture and share best‑practice knowledge within the solution architect community. Understand the AWS market segments, customer base, and industry verticals. Use Salesforce and other internal Amazon systems. Qualifications Basic Qualifications 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructure. 4+ years of experience in specific technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics. 10+ years of IT development or consulting in the software or Internet industries. Preferred Qualifications Experience in software development or Internet‑related industries. Experience migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud. Experience with AWS technologies from a DevOps perspective. Benefits The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
