Worship Arts/Digital Media Director/Pastor

Olive Knolls Church exists to make more and better disciples of Jesus Christ by building an attractive community for our active reach as we REACH, GROW, SERVE, and GO. Music is an essential expression of worship to God and an elemental piece of our weekend services.

The Worship Arts Director/Pastor provides oversight, leadership, pastoral care and discipleship in all areas of creative arts at Olive Knolls Church. This position exists to help foster a culture and community of worshipers that pursue excellence in all artistic areas for the glory of Jesus' name.

This position also carries oversight of all social media and digital communication for Olive Knolls Church. The Worship Arts/Digital Media Director owns the church's online presence — the weekly content calendar, creative development, sermon media, and the recruiting and scheduling of the camera team — so that what people see online faithfully reflects what God is doing in this church.

The Worship Arts/Digital Media Director/Pastor is a full-time, exempt salaried position. Therefore, a minimum of 40 hours per week is required. This position requires a complete background check, resume, and references.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

1. Cast a clear and compelling vision for Worship ministry and Social Media

2. Minister beyond the music. Incorporate testimonies, scripture, prayer, and other elements into services

3. Be the expert regarding all things pertaining to sound

4. Manage OKC song and media library.

5. Collaborate with Celebrate Recovery Director, Youth and Children's Pastor for all thing's music/worship.

6. Lead the Worship Team on Wednesday night Youth Ministry for 5-12 Grade.

7. Collaborate with the Lead Pastor to plan and prepare for Sunday Services

5. Willingness to participate in classes, conferences, trainings, etc. for professional development purposes

6. Compatibility with the staff

Job Qualifications

1. Education or work-related experience overseeing, directing, and/or managing paid or volunteer staff

2. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

3. Demonstrated leadership and administrative gifts

4. The ability to provide information, direction and feedback to all constituents

5. Strong problem-solving skills

6. Proficiency with social media platforms, content scheduling tools, and basic photo and video editing

7. Working knowledge of live production, sound, and presentation software

8. Oversee/Plan for special Services like Christmas Eve, Good Friday, Night of Worship, 21 days of Prayer

9. Lead weekly rehearsals and worship services

10. Recruit, train, develop, and support vocal, instrumental, and technical volunteers

11. Ensure role clarity and excellent execution of responsibilities for all volunteers

12. Organize and administer volunteer schedules and service plans

13. Recruit, train, develop, and support technical, production, and digital ministries volunteers

14. Oversee all social media for Olive Knolls Church, including platform strategy, voice, and the weekly content calendar

15. Produce and schedule the weekly social media posts for church-wide services, ministries, and events

16. Develop creative content — graphics, reels, short-form video, and story content — that reflects the mission and values of Olive Knolls Church

17. Capture and publish weekly sermon shots, clips, and quote graphics from Sunday services

18. Recruit, train, schedule, and lead the camera team for weekend services and special services

19. Maintain brand and visual consistency across all social platforms, the church website, and in-service media

20. Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages in a timely and pastoral manner

21. Teach two elective classes at Olive Knolls Christian School on worship leading and worship planning, meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays

22. Help lead and support the student worship team during OKCS chapel services

23. Other duties as needed or assigned by the Lead Pastor
