Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and formulate individualized therapy strategies designed to help them reach their functional aims
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based approaches to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and everyday activities
• Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Collaborate intimately with occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care
• Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and caregivers on therapy processes to support ongoing progress outside the clinical setting
• Document and Monitor Progress: Track clinical findings and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring the best possible outcomes for each individual

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Ongoing education or additional certifications encouraged and supported

Licensure

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
