Job Overview USC Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences is seeking a Business Data Analyst in the Dornsife Business Office to support the Decision Support Department. Responsibilities Perform data wrangling (Extract, Prep, Transform) Aggregate, calculate, transform, and convert data Ensure data accuracy and relevance Create visualizations and dashboards with Tableau, Power BI, Power Query, and Excel Distribute visual insights to stakeholders via multiple methods Make data accessible and understandable for executive leadership and operational units Safeguard sensitive information and maintain compliance with data security protocols Generate ad‑hoc reports as requested Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of professional data analysis experience Expertise in financial, human resources, student, or similar enterprise datasets Highly proficient in Tableau visualization Skilled in data wrangling/transformation techniques Working knowledge of Python (or R) for data analysis and scripting Solid understanding of SQL database structures and data collection methodologies (e.g., surveys, tests) Background in Data Analytics, Statistics, or Computer Science Familiarity with Workday system is a plus Salary and Benefits Annual base salary ranges from $84,855 to $95,000.
