Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations in a fast-paced setting. This role involves key responsibilities such as order entry, inventory management, coordinating nurse visits, and sterile drug mixing to ensure high standards of patient care and medication safety.
Schedule/Hours:
Monday to Friday
8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Duration:
Contract position for 8+ weeks
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active and clear Pennsylvania pharmacy technician license
At least 1 year of recent experience in sterile compounding
Familiarity with sterile drug preparation and aseptic techniques
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage inventory and support workflow efficiently
Responsibilities:
Accurately enter orders and maintain pharmacy records
Assist with inventory control and management to ensure medication availability
Coordinate with nursing staff for patient medication visits and administration
Prepare sterile compounded medications following established protocols
