Registered Nurse - Mother Baby - Per Diem

Position Overview Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position: Per Diem, Registered Nurse Location: Naperville, IL Shift: Night, 7 pm to 7 am, rotating weekends and holidays. Commitment level 1: 32 - 72 hours per 6-week schedule. Required travel: No. What You Will Do Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. Employs critical thinking skills, assesses patients’ condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients’ progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. Maintains flexibility to perform duties that may vary by assigned unit or shift. Qualifications Education: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; if Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of the position start date (effective September 1, 2021). Certification: Current BLS through AHA and current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure. Experience: Two years of mother‑baby RN experience preferred.
