Purchasing Agent

Purchasing Agent JSG is seeking a Purchasing Agent. Become a vital contributor to our supply chain efficiency! Pay $30 per hour. In this engaging role, you will be responsible for sourcing materials, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely procurement of all company-related supplies. Required Skills Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret material requirements from MRP systems Excellent negotiation and communication abilities to request quotes and coordinate with suppliers Ability to place purchase orders and verify acknowledgements accurately Experience sourcing materials based on product descriptions Proficient in managing relationships with suppliers and handling discrepancies or returns Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical specifications (a plus) Nice to Have Skills Experience with inventory management software or ERP systems Knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain principles Preferred Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED required Associate degree or equivalent experience (a plus) Previous experience in purchasing or supply chain roles (highly desirable) Benefits Medical, dental, vision, life insurance options Short-term disability 401(k) Weekly pay And more Equal Opportunity Employer Johnson Service Group (JSG) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
