Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machinist responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, and operating CNC and manual machining equipment to produce precision components that meet engineering specifications. The role requires reading blueprints, installing tooling, performing quality inspections, and ensuring machines run efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with machinery.
• Produce precision components that adhere to engineering specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints to guide machining processes.
• Install and adjust tooling as necessary.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure components meet required standards.
• Ensure machines are running efficiently and safely.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a setup Machinist.
• Proficiency in setup activities for mills and lathes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Programming experience is a plus.

Work Environment

The work schedule includes a weekend shift from Friday to Sunday, 6am-6pm, with flexibility on start times. Second shift runs Monday to Friday from 2pm-10:30pm, and the day shift is Monday to Friday from 6am-2pm. Enjoy a supportive work environment with new machinery and expansion opportunities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kalispell, MT.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
