Qualifications & Desired Skills:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (LDOE or eligibility)

• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to 3rd-grade students in an inclusion classroom
• Develop and implement IEPs, adapting materials and teaching methods for diverse learners
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to ensure effective co-teaching
• Track student progress and participate in regular team meetings
• Establish a welcoming, inclusive classroom culture that encourages each child to thrive
