Housekeeper II Pay: $17.49/hr – $18.65/hr + credit for experience (Full-Time) Location: The Shores, a UMC Community, Ocean City, NJ Responsibilities Perform floor care and routine cleaning (dusting, disinfecting furniture, fixtures, equipment, hallways, and common areas) to maintain a clean environment. Empty and clean waste receptacles daily. Clean, restock, and maintain restroom supplies. Move and arrange furniture and assist with room setups for programs and activities. Assist in unloading delivery trucks as needed. Follow proper sanitation methods and safely use cleaning products to uphold cleanliness standards and prevent infection. Operate housekeeping equipment such as scrubbers, burnishers, extractors, and perform advanced floor care such as stripping and finishing floors. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (required). 18 years of age or older (required). Prior experience in floor care including stripping and finishing floors (required). Prior experience in a long‑term care setting, janitorial role, or customer service role (preferred). Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
