About the Role:
Columbus Property Services Inc is looking for a skilled and dependable Handyman to join our growing team in Peabody, MA! This is a fantastic opportunity to take your trade skills on the road with a company-provided van and be the go-to problem solver for our valued clients. If you love variety in your workday and take pride in quality craftsmanship, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of general repairs and maintenance tasks at residential and/or commercial properties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, and more
- Travel to job sites using a company-provided van, managing tools and materials efficiently
- Communicate professionally with clients to assess needs and explain completed work
- Complete jobs on schedule while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
- Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time on site
- Maintain company vehicle and equipment in clean, working condition
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or general contractor
- Proficiency in multiple trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and drywall repair
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple job sites
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Basic knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
