Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Stepdown for a travel assignment in Morgantown, WV. This role involves working in a dynamic acute care environment focused on neuroscience patients. The unit features advanced care for higher acuity neuroscience cases, including a 31-bed Neuro Stepdown & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown

• Provide specialized care for higher acuity Neuroscience patients
• Monitor and manage patients post-TPA, strokes, EMU, seizures, and craniotomies
• Implement NIH Stroke Scale assessments
• Administer medications and titrate drips as per physician orders
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including RT available 24/7 for support

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown

• BLS and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS preferred
• Strong Neuro experience with history of caring for stroke patients
• EPIC experience required
