Clinical Lab Technician - Entry level, will train!

Labcorp seeks an entry-level clinical lab technician for its Calabasas Hills location to perform specimen testing and maintain laboratory equipment under supervision. The role involves procedural compliance, documentation, and equipment maintenance in a fast-paced diagnostic environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen testing according to established procedures under Clinical Lab Scientist oversight
• Track receipt, usage, and expiration dates for reagents, kits, controls, and standards
• Execute pipetting tasks using calibrated automatic devices and fixed volume dispensers
• Conduct preventative equipment maintenance, document activities, and escalate complex repairs
• Record all laboratory activities including maintenance logs and quality control data for regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Science, Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
• Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and organizational skills
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced settings
• Prior lab experience of 1 year or more preferred

Compensation: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
