Workers Comp Defense Associate Attorney

Job Posting: Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney Location: Hybrid/Remote/Fully in Office (Depending on Location)

Salary: $90,000 - $135,000

Benefits: Full Benefits, 401k, Dues Paid, 15 Days of PTO

Bonus: Competitive Bonus Based on Hours (Minimum $20K if target is met)

Responsibilities:

* Defend clients in workers' compensation cases, handling all aspects of litigation from pre-trial through trial.

* Work with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to build strong defense strategies.

* Participate in trials and hearings, and enjoy the challenge of trial work.

* Advise clients on legal rights, case progress, and potential outcomes.

* Draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and pleadings.

Qualifications:

* Trial Experience is a must - You should enjoy trial work and have experience handling cases in a courtroom setting.

* 2+ years of experience in workers' compensation defense or related areas of law.

* Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

* Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with an open-door policy.
