Job Summary


Our client is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide both clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers. The role involves ensuring efficient patient flow and delivering high-quality care through direct patient interaction, assistance in examinations and procedures, collection of vital signs and specimens, maintenance of accurate medical records, and support of day-to-day clinical operations in compliance with regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms; sterilize instruments per infection-control guidelines.
• Perform specimen collection (blood, urine, swabs) and point-of-care testing.
• Administer injections and medications as directed (per scope and licensure).
• Provide patient education on treatments, medications, and follow-up care.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times.
• Schedule appointments, manage referrals, and coordinate follow-up visits.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Verify insurance information and assist with patient intake and registration.
• Respond to patient inquiries via phone, portal, or in person.
• Support medical records management and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of medical supplies.

• Open to candidates with Medical Assistant experience, new grads, and backgrounds as CNAs, PCTs, EMTs, or HHA.

Additional Requirements

• Availability to work an 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (no weekends).
