RIGHT NOW.\n\n##### \n\nJohn Deere is an equal opportunity employer, including disabled \u0026 veterans. \n\nPrimary Location: United States (US) - Illinois - Moline \nFunction: Technology (CA) \nTitle: Staff Software Engineer - 118188 \nOnsite/Remote:Onsite Position\n\n## Your Responsibilities \n\nAs a Staff Software Engineer for John Deere World Headquarters located in Moline, IL, you will... \n\n * Lead the design, development, and delivery of JDDO enterprise-grade solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform. \n * Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders (Microsoft, Partners, and dealers) to align technical solutions with business goals. \n * Architect scalable and secure solutions using Dynamics 365 Sales Hub, Azure Services, and Fabric/PowerBI. \n * Develop advanced customizations including plugins, PCF controls, and workflow extensions using C#/.NET, and TypeScript/React. \n * Define and enforce best practices for development, testing, and deployment across environments using GitHub. \n * Help lead cross-functional engineering teams in delivering high-impact features and integrations. \n * Drive innovation and continuous improvement across engineering practices and platform capabilities. \n\n\n\nVISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position. \n\n## What Skills You Need\n\n * 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365, primarily with Sales Hub \n * Advanced knowledge of solution architecture, including multi-layered solutions, ALM best practices, and solution segmentation. \n * Solution Lifecycle Management: Deep understanding of managed vs unmanaged solutions, patching strategies, and version control using Azure DevOps. \n * Deep expertise in Dataverse, Power Platform, and Dynamics 365 SDK, including customizations, plugins, and integrations. \n * Strong understanding of lead and opportunity management, sales forecasting, and pipeline analytics within Sales Hub. \n * Proficiency in REST APIs, OData, and custom connectors for extending Dynamics 365 capabilities. \n\n\n\n## What Makes You Stand Out\n\n * Experience working with Customer Insights \u2013 Journeys to create customer segments, generate triggers, and track marketing KPIs. \n * Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and environment management for Dynamics 365 solutions. \n * Experience with security modeling within Dataverse, including business units, teams, roles, and field-level security. \n * External Data Integration: Integrated external data sources into Dynamics 365 using virtual entities and custom data providers. \n\n\n\n## Education\n\nIdeally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: \n\n * Bachelor\u0027s degree in computer science or related field \n\n\n\nWhat You\u0027ll Get\n\nAt John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
