Warehouse Associate

Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY, the global leader in opening solutions, is seeking a warehouse associate with occasional back driving to join our team in Columbus, GA.

We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals with previous warehouse experience and a strong, stable work history. Candidates who do not have warehouse experience or who demonstrate frequent job changes may not be considered for this position.

Important Job Requirements

This is a physically demanding warehouse position in a non-climate-controlled environment. The role requires continuous movement and frequent lifting of products weighing 50-75 lbs. If you are not comfortable working in these conditions, please do not apply.

Essential Responsibilities

• Unload, inspect, and receive incoming products, primarily by hand (50-75 lbs.)
• Pull, stage, and load customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide excellent service to customers during pickups and deliveries
• Operate a 26' box truck for deliveries as needed
• Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and damage control
• Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment

Required Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is required
• Demonstrated history of steady employment and reliability
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid driver's license with a minimum of one year of driving experience
• Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting (50-75 lbs.) and remain active throughout the shift
• Must meet all DOT requirements, including physical, background screening, and acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) standards
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English in accordance with DOT regulations

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• 7:30am-4:00pm
• Occasional overtime required
• Starting pay is $20.00 per hour based on experience, skills, training, and qualifications
• Additional earning opportunities through driving and performance bonuses
