Registered Nurse - Telemetry

$2774.40/week - Job Summary: Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with telemetry experience to join the cardiac telemetry unit. This role involves providing expert patient care for cardiac patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. Responsibilities: Assess patient conditions and monitor cardiac telemetry strips regularly. Administer and titrate IV medications such as insulin, Cardizem, Cardene, and Amiodarone. Perform procedures including IV insertions, Foley insertions, NGT placement, and chest tube maintenance. Interpret EKGs and telemetry data to identify cardiac events promptly. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients on their care, including use of equipment and medication management. Qualifications: Valid RN license with current state certification. Minimum of 1 year of recent Cardiac Telemetry or PCU/ICU experience. Proficiency in reading and interpreting EKGs and telemetry strips. Experience with post-cardiac procedural care and IV medication administration. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
