As part of the global Bertrandt Group, our team of innovators tackles cutting-edge projects across ADAS, Autonomous Driving, Electric Mobility, and Manufacturing Support, transforming complex issues into sustainable, connected solutions.

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Security Architect to lead the design and evolution of secure network and infrastructure architectures across the organization. This role is responsible for defining security strategy, establishing architectural standards, and partnering across engineering teams to embed security into scalable, modern platforms.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in network security, zero trust architecture, and multi-cloud environments, along with the ability to influence and guide enterprise-wide technology decisions.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design of enterprise network and infrastructure security architectures
• Define and operationalize zero trust strategies, including ZTNA and microsegmentation
• Establish security architecture standards, reference designs, and design patterns
• Conduct and govern security architecture reviews across engineering and platform teams
• Translate business and technical requirements into actionable security controls and architectures
• Partner with stakeholders across:
  • Cloud and platform engineering
  • Infrastructure and networking
  • Identity and access management
  • OT and vehicle security domains
• Drive adoption of modern security capabilities such as:
  • SASE / secure access architectures
  • Network detection & response (NDR)
  • DNS security and traffic visibility
  • Firewall strategy and segmentation models
• Architect secure solutions across AWS and Azure environments
• Contribute to emerging areas such as AI/ML security architecture
• Align designs with industry frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, SABSA)

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on network and infrastructure security architecture
• Proven experience designing security solutions in enterprise-scale environments
• Deep expertise in:
  • Zero trust architecture (ZTA / ZTNA)
  • Network segmentation and microsegmentation
  • Firewall and network security strategy
• Strong experience with multi-cloud security architecture (AWS and/or Azure)
• Understanding of cloud-native networking and controls
• Ability to lead cross-functional architecture reviews and influence engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with SASE architectures and modern remote access patterns
• Experience with DNS security, NDR, and network visibility tools
• Knowledge of OT or automotive/vehicle security environments
• Exposure to AI/ML security risks and architectures
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as SABSA, NIST CSF, or MITRE ATT&CK
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts to diverse audiences

Additional Information

• Role can be based in Charlotte, NC or Novi, MI
• Remote candidates within the U.S. will be considered with periodic travel required
• Travel may be required for team collaboration and company events
